          About the organization
Vibrant Communities Calgary is the backbone organization to the Collective Impact implementation of Calgary’s community-driven strategy to reduce poverty (Enough for All).
On January 1, 2015, the City of Calgary and the United Way of Calgary and Area appointed Vibrant Communities Calgary, through a Memorandum of Agreement, to guide the implementation of the strategy — with the community remaining its collective ‘owner’. That ownership is currently shared across 20 collaboratives and networks of community members including people with lived experience of poverty, Indigenous leaders and organizations with a focus on reducing poverty.
