The Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) Renfrew & Lanark creates innovative and effective collaborations among community organizations to raise awareness of the value of rural immigration. LIP builds community capacity for responsive and coordinated settlement of newcomers. Planning and coordinating a community-wide investment in a "no wrong door" environment offers newcomers a holistic support network. Working collaboratively, we foster an inclusive, diverse and productive rural region where welcoming communities enable everyone to reach their human potential.
